This here is one of the two bowls we are required to make it is about 3 1/2 inches tall and about 4 inches wide. The whole thing throughout is smooth with a tad bit of roughness. I began glazing by dipping the entire thing in white. Then painted the inside with a dark green. The bottom has to orange half circles with black outlined flower pedals throughout. The bowl utilizes contrast in color as well as a pleasing bowl shape. I made this for my aunt who asked for daises on something. I could not find yellow glaze so i used burnt orange instead.

This here is a vase about 5 inches tall and 31/2 inches wide. The texture is smooth near the bottom and rougher near the top. I began glazing by dipping the vase in a light green up to the lip. After that dried i painted the upper half in sand and the inside as well. A new skill i learned is choking in order to get the shape of the vase. the vase is pretty simple for he most part but utilizes elements of shape and texture. The vase personally has no deeper meaning behind it other than i was experimenting with methods of glazing and it turned out well in my opinion.
This here is a small bowl maybe an inch and a half tall and and inch across some may say it can be used as a shot glass. It was dipped in white glaze then splotched black glaze but seem to combine near the bottom almost making it seem like a light blue. Mostly i used the same skills but this time I've practiced working with smaller amounts of clay. This is just a simple project that i will end up gifting to someone it didn't turn out how i expected it but all in all I like it.
This here is me and Brent Knowles finished group coil project and Brent's grandmother is receiving it.
